The Janus supercomputer is a joint effort of the University of Colorado Boulder, the University of Colorado Denver and the National Center for Atmospheric Research.

NOAA’s Earth System Research Laboratory’s (ESRL) mission is to observe, understand and predict the Earth system through research that advances NOAAs environmental information and service from minutes to millennia on global-to-local scales.

The NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center (NWSC) provides advanced computing services to scientists studying a broad range of disciplines, including weather, climate, oceanography, air pollution, space weather, computational science, energy production, and carbon sequestration. It also houses a landmark data storage and archival facility that will hold, among other scientific data, unique historical climate records.

Mount Moran is a 56.65 Tflops cluster serving the University of Wyoming. Unlike many of its peers on campus, Moran is a general purpose, condominium cluster providing service to all research interests on campus

The High Performance Computing Data Center in the ESIF is designed to be one of the most energy efficient data centers in the world, featuring warm water liquid cooling and waste heat capture and re-use. The data center will serve the breadth of NRELs mission, greatly expanding the laboratory's capabilities in modeling and simulation necessary to advance renewable energy and energy efficiency technologies
